Over 2 days enjoy the great walks in northern Hawke’s Bay and explore the the cycle trails or Esk Valley mountain bike park; the playground of local hosts Bayden and Justine for 40 years.
Check in from 2 pm. Relax and enjoy a wine tasting and nibbles overlooking the vines with hosts Justine and Bayden. We will to plan your hike and bike adventure, personally tailored to your desires and abilities. Your room includes a breakfast hamper of local produce to be enjoyed at your leisure.
Day 2: Hike
With Bayden, head north, to the top of the Mangaharuru Range. Walk options (ranging from 1 to 5 hrs) include Bell Rock, Boundary Stream Mainland Island, Shine Falls, Lake Opouahi, Lake Tutira, White Pine Bush, Tangoio Falls and Waipatiki Nikau forest. These walks feature breath-taking views, changing native forest landscapes, rare native bird reserves, waterfalls, lakes and farmland.
Day 3: Bike
Two bike options – Hawke’s Bay cycle ways or mountain biking
