BIKE THE TRAILS

Hawke’s Bay has over 200km of dedicated cycle trails that take in the scenery and wineries. Take your pick of stunning coastal views or a rural meander through orchards and vineyards, with trips as long or short as you like, and plenty of places to stop for a delicious refreshment along the way.

Mountain bikers don’t miss our world-class Pan Pac Eskdale Mountain Bike Park, with trails suited to all levels and stunning views from the top.

Ride the Hawkes Bay cycle ways with 200 km of trails featuring water, landscapes, and wineries. Various routes are available, including drop-off and winery pick-ups to make the most of your cycling day. Option to upgrade to E-bike.

Kiwiesque favourites

  • Bike from Napier along the Marine Parade and waterfront to the Te Awanga, Cape Coast wineries (26km) to enjoy some wine tasting and relaxing long lunch, before being picked up and driven back to Napier.
  • Or drop off in Havelock North to finish at the Cape Coast wineries.
  • To cover a bit more ground try the E-bike option with drop-off in Havelock biking back to Napier via the Cape Coast wineries (50km).
  • Bike the Gimblet Gravels wineries, drop off at Pakowhai, cycle up the Ngararoro river, great lunch at Te Awa Winery, then pick up at Bridge Pa (25km).
  • The Esk Valley Mountain bike park is on our doorstep with 50 km of world-class roller coaster single track including the Kiwiesque sponsored ‘Minefield’ track.
